I have just received My Mood Stars and I can honestly say they are absolutely beautiful!! As a Nursery Teacher these... stars will be the perfect resource for supporting children when we all return to school in September especially. I plan to use my stars to teach the children all about the emotions that we feel and that it’s ok to talk about them. If you haven’t already purchased these magnificent gems. I highly recommend that you do. You won’t be disappointed. The mood stars come in a lovely drawstring bag, alongside a pack that suggests some activities that you can compete with the children. What are you waiting for....read more

I don’t know where to start. I have wanted a set of My Mood Stars for what seems like forever. Not only do I love... the product, but I love Wendy White (their creator) too. She is fun, dedicated, and genuine. My Mood Stars clearly aren’t a regular toy or resource. My husband has been skeptical, and we were on a budget, so I held back. Then, the other day, I saw Wendy had introduced a coupon to buy the stars for just £15 (plus p&p). I ordered a set right away. My husband rolled his eyes and said, “We don’t need more junk he doesn’t play with.” Doubt crept in. My husband had a point. Our son does not play with toys. He is autistic and doesn’t play typically. We have Lego, cars, magnetic tiles, a train set, dolls, animals, puzzles, and more, all doing nothing. My son is 6-years-old. Was he too old for them or would he toss them aside like everything else? The My Mood Stars arrived today and I have never seen anything like it. My son looked at each of them with joy and wonder saying, “Mummy, these can help me talk about my feelings.” All day, he played and talked with them. All day. At bedtime, for the first time ever, he wanted a teddy. He chose Happy Star. Amazing. Worth every penny and more. My son is overjoyed. And, best of all, I proved my husband wrong. 😉read more

We absolutely love your ⭐️ MOOD STARS ⭐️! My son is really struggling at the moment bless him. He misses his... friends and also misses being at school with his teacher, so absolutely perfect timing when the stars came through the mailbox. A wonderful tool to be able to talk through and discuss emotions in a ‘fun’ interactive way. I’ll be recommending you to all his school friends’ parents. Great quality too! I’m very happy. 🥰read more

It was a no brainer to introduce them into our EYFS unit . Your stars are frequently used for pshe work. We have done... planned and impromptu writing done linked to them, when we lost the shocked star. Our quieter and less emotionally resilient children are drawn to them. One eyfs boy told his brother about them in year 2 and they are a vulnerable family so now he comes and borrows them when he needs the particularly the worried and sad stars ⭐️ after he has held them for a few minutes, or had them in his pockets for a few minutes he is ready to talk about what has made him sad . Your stars have had a lot of use because the kids adore them! It was great listening to one of our children talk to our link governor about them the other day. They had a great discussion about each of the stars and what to do if you feel sad at school. Thank you!read more

What a wonderful lady and a great product. Very well made, just the right size for little fingers but equally... appealing to larger hands too. I couldn't keep my hands off them. Soft, easily washed with the soft side of velcro not too overstimulating or bright. Perfect level of contrast between the yellow stars and black features that clearly denote the different moods depicted. A wonderful learning aid or just great play things. Value - outstanding. I recommend everyone to buy a set whether you think you need them or not because they make a perfect emergency gift too. Thank you Wendy!read more

I recently bought your amazing Mood Stars. They are a hit in my house! My 6 year old started Year 1, and she has... Selective Mutism. SM comes from a lack of confidence - so we have tried for maybe 3-4 years now to build it up but still, she just gets very nervous around people, or in certain places, etc. She decided to take the Shy star in one of the badges since Day 1. She went in wearing it. I had a chat with her teacher... and at pick up time, she wasn’t wearing it! She’s been taking it, but inside her book bag. One day, she might decide to take the silly or happy star with her and leave the shy one at home! On the other hand, my 4 year old started reception... and she does not believe in shyness! She’s all over the place! She uses the board when she’s upset, as a distraction! She throws the stars and ends up laughing at how they get stuck on the board! I’ve sat with her on the floor just throwing the stars at the board! An absolutely amazing idea Wendy! :)♥️❤️💕 Sorry I hadn’t sent you a feedback before - lack of time!!!!!!!read more

⭐️ MOOD STARS ⭐️ I bought our Mood Stars from @mymoodstars41 a few weeks ago and have been using them regularly... in my setting. I’ve noticed that by children seeing the emotions and being able to hold the soft stars it helps to initiate conversations about how they are feeling and - most importantly - WHY they feel the way they do. Over time children have become more confident in speaking about their feelings. I also tell them how I am feeling by selecting a star because I think if I don’t join in then the children won’t want to either! They always learn by us 😁 Plus we play many fun games with them too, one of our favourites is to throw the stars at the board and act out the emotion star they have selected. If you haven’t got any of these then I can highly recommend! They are amazing and have worked wonders for us all here 😁 #mymoodstars #emotions #childrensmentalhealthmatters #mentalhealth #eyfs #send #autism #earlyyearsideasread more

Fantastic way to help children with their feelings. My twin boys have not stopped throwing them at the board and making... up fun games since we bought them. They immediately came up with idea of matching stars to the emotions of the characters on the TV! Whilst our boys are 7yrs, one is easily emotional and the other can struggle with larger groups of people and feel anxious, so both benefit from help expressing how they feel. Anything that makes this fun is brilliant and My Mood Stars does just that 🌟 And if you don’t know what to do with the box it arrived me.. why not do some craft?! Ours became a roman shield for a school project! See the comments for a photo 😆read more

I bought My Moods Stars book back in July and have used it throughout the summer but it has really come into it's own... this week as my boy returned to school entering year 3. My children love playing with My Mood Stars. They are suitable for both pre-school and primary school aged children as... they are able to interact with the stars in so many different ways. Over the Summer the stars have been on many different adventures in the garden, into space in the rocket tent and on a picnic to name but a few. A lot of toys get played with and then abandoned to the toy box, but my children keep getting drawn to play with their My Mood Stars and love playing with them over and over again.read more
